These terms apply to every order placed through smellvip.com. By placing an order you accept them, so please read them before you buy.
About us
Smell VIP is an online fragrance retailer operating in Jordan. We do not operate a walk-in shop. You can reach us through our contact page.
Products
All fragrances we sell are genuine products in original manufacturer packaging. We do not sell imitations or refilled bottles. Where an item is a tester, this is stated on the product page.
We make every effort to describe products accurately, including fragrance notes and concentration. Product photographs are representative; manufacturers periodically change packaging and bottle design without notice, so the item you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the photograph. The fragrance itself will be as described.
How a fragrance smells and how long it lasts varies from person to person. Differences in performance on your skin are not a fault and are not grounds for return once the item has been opened.
Prices
All prices are shown in Jordanian Dinar (JOD) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed and we have accepted.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price through a genuine error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you, and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and dispatch it. We may decline an order where the item is out of stock, where we cannot verify the delivery details, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
Availability
Stock levels can change between you placing an order and us processing it. If an item turns out to be unavailable we will contact you and offer an alternative or a full refund.
Payment
We accept cash on delivery, direct bank transfer and Western Union. Orders paid by transfer are dispatched once payment has cleared. We do not process card payments and do not store card details.
Delivery
We deliver within Jordan only, at a flat rate of 3.00 JOD per order, shown at checkout. Delivery timescales given on this site are estimates and are not guaranteed; delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays or circumstances outside our control are not our responsibility, though we will always help you chase a delayed parcel.
It is your responsibility to give a correct and complete delivery address and a contactable phone number. We cannot refund orders lost because of an incorrect address supplied at checkout.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Returns and refunds
Sealed items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Opened items cannot be returned. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are put right at our cost. Full details are on our Refunds and Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Your account
If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
Acceptable use
You may not use this site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Our content
The text, product descriptions, layout and design of this site belong to Smell VIP or our suppliers. Brand names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners, and their use here identifies the products we sell. You may not copy our product descriptions or site content for commercial use without permission.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Fragrances are cosmetic products applied to skin. If you have known sensitivities, check the ingredient list on the packaging before use and discontinue use if irritation occurs. We are not liable for allergic reactions to ingredients disclosed by the manufacturer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and disputes fall to the Jordanian courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published at the time you place your order is the one that applies to it.
